Home Care Certified OT Assistant (COTA) $80,000.00 + Personal Driver + 37 Days PTO + Benefits + 401K

*New York Home Care* is looking for part-time and full-time dynamic *Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants* for our Home based *Pediatric* cases. This position offers up to *$80,000.00 salary* plus an excellent benefits package which includes: *Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 27 Paid Time Off Days, 10 Paid Holidays* *The option to cover Case Load on Weekends is available.*

*Only 25 Visits Weekly!*

Our part-time and full-time positions offer therapists the option to have a *Personal Driver* pick you up from your home ( Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx ) and drive you to your cases and then back home. Currently, we are the only agency in New York that offers this unique door-to-door car service!

*Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) Job Description*

* Assessing under the OT Supervisor the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.
* Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
* Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.
* Identifying the patients Sensory Integration processing needs.
* Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.
* Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.

*Position Qualifications:*

· Certified by The State of New York as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
